Compensation: Starting Compensation: $127,000 $165,100 commensurate with skills and experience
Full Pay Range: $127,000 $203,100
Employment Classification: Full-Time

Our Location
Energy Trust provides for a range of work location options, including remote, hybrid and in-office work. This position will represent Energy Trust in public settings and potentially at community events. We are open to candidates who live throughout Oregon and Washington.
The Infrastructure Manager would be expected to live in the Portland metro area and be onsite several times a month.
This position leads and manages the IT Infrastructure team prioritizing the team s work, coordinating activities, managing infrastructure projects, liaising with IT management and the business to ensuring a stable, flexible, secure, and effective technology infrastructure.
The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the oversight of selection, design, implementation, maintenance, and support of server and workstation hardware, software, LAN/WAN networks, and cloud-based infrastructure assets to ensure acceptable response time, availability, flexibility, and security.
The Infrastructure Manager manages vendor relationships that support IT equipment procurement and services. The Infrastructure Manager collaborates on the implementation, upgrades, and performance of applications or systems such as Financial Systems and CRM. This position collaborates with the Information Security Manager in implementing and maintaining security controls, tools, and platforms.
- Manage and provide day-to-day oversight of the Infrastructure team. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training staff, assigning, and managing work, and guiding the development and implementation of employee work plans.
- Manage the infrastructure team in complex network, server, system analysis, process automation, network architecture and design, testing implementation of infrastructure hardware and software.
- Provide technical leadership across the infrastructure team. Develop and implement procedures to ensure the effective access, use, management, security and availability of networks and systems to business users to meet business goals.
- Develop architecture and strategies to ensure software, hardware, and networking scalability and to meet current and future business needs.
- Support the creation of and oversee implementation of policies and procedures supporting enterprise security.
- Manage and administer security platforms including firewalls, authentication, anti-virus solutions, and intrusion detection systems.
- Manage projects using a standardized project management methodology.
- Support the IT Manager in developing the IT budget.
- Ensure that documentation, policies, procedures, and help sheets are created and maintained for all network, desktop, communication, and server hardware, software, and communication links, including data, voice, security, and audio-video systems.
- Ensure that disaster recovery plans are maintained and tested. Maintain current knowledge of plan executables. Respond to network outages and security incidents in accordance with business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Understand current best practices for IT standards, trends, modern technologies, and approaches.
- Provide technical support and consulting to resolve complex IT issues.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Perform all functions of the job in a safe manner.
- Direct supervision of IT Infrastructure staff.
- Hires and directs the work of external contractors and vendors.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science from an accredited college or university; or equivalent education/experience in the information technology field.
- 3 years of Infrastructure management experience.
- 10 years of IT infrastructure related experience.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001/2, PCI, NIST, etc.
- 5 years of experience with LANs, WANs, VPNs, and Firewalls.
- Strong technical knowledge of network and operating systems, including Windows Desktop, Windows Servers, and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience working with SharePoint, CRM, Exchange, Great Plains or Financial Systems, browser based custom applications, IIS, and collaboration software.
- Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, security, and standards.
- Experience in system architecture, security, Microsoft server/software, and advanced networking.
- Experience managing projects to completion.
- Exceptionally strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, oral, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience communicating ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Experience prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Familiarity with standard business processes.
- Strong customer service skills and experience. Must be able to interact with a diverse workforce and be comfortable working in culturally diverse settings and groups.

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications in the pay equity assessment to determine equitable salary placement. Candidates should expect compensation offers within the starting compensation range. The full pay range is included to show the earnings potential for this position with sustained high performance.
