Looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Cloud Observability and Automation team under Technology Infrastructure. This Senior Engineer needs to work along with other Engineers in Agile Feature teams and will be responsible to deliver Cloud capabilities. Background must reflect senior technical experience, strong Cloud Computing skills, robust virtualization knowledge, vast shell scripting or coding experience, and knowledge of cloud-based technologies. Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of the systems; optimizes the infrastructure; provides information security.

In this role, you will:

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for high visibility cloud computing initiatives and hybrid environments.
• Develop, document, and communicate solution design for large complex technology initiatives.
• Communicate, Influence, and execute solution designs and transformation required for public and hybrid cloud adoption across the enterprise while ensuring alignment with architecture, security and other key Technology frameworks.
• Make decisions and drive solutions consistent with risk and controls framework.
• Evangelize opportunities, challenges, and security advantages of integrated cloud services.
• Develop and implement cloud-based procedures, continuous monitoring, compliance, and cloud asset inventory strategies.
• Leverage agility and scalability of DevSecOps and automated governance utilizing secure Infrastructure as Code principles; proactively partner to update CI/CD pipelines based on trends identified in the environment.
• Develop, document, and implement a greenfield framework for cloud optimization leveraging industry best practices to ensure a secure, least privileged model
• Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to define problems, proactively innovate, provide credible challenge, and translate vision into strategic solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Terraform experience
• Sentinel policy development
• Logging & monitoring expertise and broad Azure & Google Cloud Platform landing zone
• Python/Java Script 2+ yrs.
• PowerShell/Linux 2+ yrs.
• Strong verbal, written, influence and interpersonal communication skills
• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience with Cloud technologies
• 3+ years of experience with building, deploying and securing cloud platforms
• 3+ years of experience building cloud-ready enterprise solutions
• 3+ years of Kubernetes experience

Desired Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Azure and or Google public cloud experience
• 3+ years of experience in designing and engineering cloud native solutions
• 3+ years of experience with secure DevOps and deployment automation to cloud environments
• Experience working with cloud security management or governance tools
• Experience with one or more Cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Azure, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) or VMware Tanzu App Service (TAS), OpenStack
• Experience with large scale design, installation and configuration of one or more observability tool sets such as Azure Monitor, Google Operations Suite, Prometheus, Wavefront
• Experience utilizing Cloud Infrastructure within tools and applications such as AWS Cloud Formation Templates, Spinnaker and Terraform
• Experience with virtualization products and hypervisor technologies such as VMWare, Xen, Hyper-V, or other
• Knowledge and understanding of 12-factor/Cloud Native development, Infrastructure as Code, Grid computing/Elastic compute
• Knowledge and understanding of diverse platforms and operating systems, including current and emerging technologies
• Professional Cloud Certification(s) from Cloud Security Alliance, AWS, Google, Microsoft, or equivalent industry-standard/professional organizations
• Security and network knowledge
• Agile experience
