Job Title: ADP Enterprise Functional and Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Location: Remote
Contract: Long Term
Position Overview: The ADP Enterprise Functional and Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) will be responsible for providing in-depth expertise in both functional and technical aspects of ADP's enterprise software solutions. This role will require strong collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and ADP support teams to ensure successful implementation, integration, and optimization of ADP solutions. The SME will serve as a key resource for addressing complex business and technical challenges, ensuring the alignment of ADP systems with organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Functional Expertise:
o Act as the go-to expert on ADP enterprise solutions and their functionalities, ensuring they meet the specific needs of the organization.
o Lead the analysis, design, and configuration of ADP HCM (Human Capital Management), Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, and other enterprise-level systems to meet business requirements.
o Work closely with business units to understand business processes and translate them into system requirements and configurations.
o Provide guidance on best practices and process optimization using ADP systems.
2. Technical Expertise:
o Possess in-depth knowledge of ADP architecture, integration tools, and underlying technologies to troubleshoot and optimize enterprise solutions.
o Support the development of custom solutions, integrations, and data flows between ADP systems and other enterprise applications (ERP, HRMS, Finance, etc.).
o Participate in the design and implementation of system upgrades, patches, and new releases.
o Ensure the smooth operation of integrations between ADP platforms and third-party applications.
3. Implementation & Support:
o Lead or support the implementation and deployment of ADP solutions, ensuring that the solution aligns with project scope, timelines, and business objectives.
o Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring that they understand how to leverage the ADP systems effectively.
o Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions in a timely manner to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
o Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding.
4. Project Management:
o Participate in planning and managing ADP-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes.
o Ensure that system performance, security, and compliance are in line with organizational standards and regulations.
o Manage system configurations, upgrades, and releases in coordination with business and IT teams.
5. Continuous Improvement:
o Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for enhancements to improve business processes, efficiency, and user experience.
o Stay current with new features, tools, and industry trends related to ADP systems to continually enhance the system's capabilities and efficiency.
6. Documentation & Reporting:
o Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including user manuals, system configurations, and integration guides.
o Prepare and deliver regular reports on system performance, issues, and improvement initiatives to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
o 5+ years of experience in a functional or technical SME role with ADP enterprise solutions (e.g., Workforce Now, Vantage, Global View, etc.).
o Proven experience in the implementation, configuration, and support of ADP systems in a large enterprise environment.
o Expertise in integrations between ADP platforms and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, HRMS).
o Strong understanding of HR processes, payroll, benefits administration, and time management systems.
Skills:
o Strong technical background, with knowledge of SQL, APIs, and data integrations.
o Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
o Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
o Project management experience, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
o Ability to provide leadership, guidance, and training to junior staff and end-users.
Preferred Qualifications:
ADP-certified professional or equivalent certifications.
Experience with ADP Marketplace solutions and third-party integrations.
Knowledge of cloud computing and enterprise-level system architecture.
