RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Web Developer in Salt Lake City, UT.
Key Responsibilities:
* Web Developer will develop, test, and maintain web applications using Java
* Design and manage SQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
* As a Web Developer, you will troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing web applications
* Work in both Windows and Linux environments to ensure compatibility and performance
* Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role
* Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices
* Proficiency in Java and SQL databases
* Position requires advanced knowledge skills and abilities of application coding, technical environments, development tools, and typical application development process
* Focus on database migration, re-platforming, and adoption of cloud computing services
Scoring:
20% - Cost
15% - Years direct work experience as web application developer
25% - Development tools and skill levels
30% - Development roles and experience on systems and projects
10% - Software development lifecycle knowledge and experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
