Our client's Electrical team specializes in designing electrical power systems for industrial facilities, including ethanol, specialty chemical, grain handling, and feed mills. They also develop green energy solutions (solar) for municipal and industrial clients, helping them expand their renewable energy portfolios. Their analytical services for new and existing power systems include load flow studies, short circuit analysis, arc flash risk assessment, and power factor correction.

The Team:

Your Role:
- Deliver high-quality engineering services based on your knowledge of engineering fundamentals, design codes, and industry standards.
- Collaborate efficiently with the project team, including external members, to provide value to our clients.
- Take on increasingly complex design tasks and responsibilities, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Support the growth and success of your peers and less experienced engineers.
- Identify and assess design options in the preliminary phase to inform sound decision-making by the project team and clients. Communicate concepts effectively.
- Prepare calculations, edit specifications, and coordinate drawings.
- Review project documents for quality and coordination with all disciplines.
- Communicate with clients and contractors regarding construction RFIs and review shop drawings.
- Perform site visits and observations (potential 10% travel to construction job sites).
- Write proposals and assist in estimating project fees as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience without PE or 4 years of experience with PE.
