Job Description:

Discover will not sponsor or transfer employment work be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

This role will be critical to our Discover Global Network Complaint handling program build, and management. We support payment processing domestically and internationally and have a unique opportunity to help build and develop a new program.

Provide operational and risk management support related to key Payment Services Risk Management (PSRM) and Payment Services initiatives, which will change over time. Performs key responsibilities such as identifying solutions, financial analysis and monitoring, internal and external reporting (including regulatory reporting), developing project plans, project management, and management updates. Work cross functionally across the company on highly visible projects. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

Responsibilities:
  • Effectively engage and collaborate with business line management, subject matter experts, and external parties.
  • Create and modify high level and detailed project plans. Assess risks to plans and develop strategies to mitigate risk. Execute and track projects and manage initiative to achieve overall goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate the financial performance of partners by conducting in-depth analysis. Use multiple analytical techniques to understand performance trends.
  • Develop presentations to report and inform various constituencies on the status and issues associated with assigned projects.


Minimum Qualifications:

At a minimum, here's what we need from you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration and Management, Law or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience as Financial Analyst, Credit Analyst, Accountant, Law, Risk.
  • In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of experience as Financial Analyst, Credit Analyst, Accountant, Law, Risk or Related

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $75,500.00 to $127,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
