Description
We are looking for a skilled Database Analyst to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage data systems, develop reports, and ensure the quality and accessibility of critical information. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while enhancing operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain reports for internal business platforms, including Salesforce and learning management systems.
Identify and resolve data accuracy and quality issues within databases primarily using SQL, Oracle experience is a plus.
Design and execute queries for business intelligence, create batch processes, and support database development.
Engage with stakeholders to understand operational needs and system requirements.
Collaborate with IT teams and managers to identify and implement process improvements.
Provide user support, develop new reports, and align system processes with organizational goals.
Analyze and present data in a clear and actionable format for various audiences.
Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of internal systems and applications.
Stay updated on industry trends by attending workshops and reviewing relevant publications.
Requirements
Strong skills in data analysis and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Excel, and business intelligence tools.
Experience with relational and non-relational database structures.
Familiarity with Salesforce configuration, data dashboards, and reporting.
Knowledge of database systems such as DB2 and Microsoft SQL.
Understanding of backup technologies and data recovery processes.
Background in the insurance industry or similar fields is a plus.
Ability to implement A/B testing and assess results effectively.
