Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Anti-Money Laundering Investigations Analyst to join our compliance team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in escalated AML investigations, with a strong background in fraud escalations, negative news analysis, transaction monitoring, and Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) writing. This role is critical in ensuring our organization adheres to regulatory requirements and effectively mitigates risks associated with money laundering and financial crimes.

This position will require hybrid onsite 3 days in the Denver office. The team is in a regulated secure room environment.
They will sit within the GFC (Global Financial Crimes) business unit that supports all lines of business with escalations for case investigations. By the time these individuals receive a case it has already been vetted by L1 Triage and L2 investigation to confirm that it requires full, complex investigation.

- Conduct thorough investigations of suspicious transactions and activities, utilizing transaction monitoring systems and analytical tools
- Analyze negative news and other relevant information to assess potential risks associated with clients and transactions
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate fraud cases and provide insights for further action
- Prepare and file SARs in compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AML regulations, industry trends, and best practices to enhance the effectiveness of the compliance program
