Introduction: We are seeking a meticulous QA Functional Tester with extensive experience in data logistics and a strong background in the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our healthcare applications, focusing on data transformation processes and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Planning and Strategy Development: Design and develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for healthcare applications, emphasizing data logistics and transformation processes.
- Test Execution: Execute functional, integration, regression, and performance tests, ensuring alignment with business requirements and regulatory standards.
- Data Logistics and Transformation Testing: Analyze and validate data flow, transformation, and integration across various healthcare systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand business requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Automation: Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium or Playwright to enhance testing efficiency and defect identification.
- Continuous Integration: Build and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to integrate automated tests into the development lifecycle using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and report defects, issues, and risks in a timely manner using issue-tracking systems such as Jira. Collaborate with development teams to resolve defects.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to healthcare industry regulations and standards, including HIPAA, through rigorous testing methodologies.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain quality testing standards and procedures. Provide preparation of Defect Status Reports and Daily/Weekly Status Reports.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA testing, with at least 3 years focused on data logistics and transformation within healthcare applications.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JUnit, Cypress).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and backend verification.
- Familiarity with database testing and SQL for validating data integrity.
- Domain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of healthcare data logistics, including data transformation, integration, and compliance standards.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a capacity to debug and resolve issues independently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare industry regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH) is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) for assessing application scalability.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and testing cloud-native applications.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
