Job Title: Senior Business System Analyst (Contractor) Transportation, Routing & Billing

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business System Analyst with extensive experience in the transportation industry to support a Routing and Billing initiative. This role requires expertise in business process analysis, requirements documentation, process mapping, and wireframing using FigJam. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and a proven track record of optimizing transportation and logistics systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for the Routing and Billing initiative.
2. Develop detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and User Stories.
3. Create process maps, workflows, and wireframes using FigJam to support system design and user experience.
4. Work closely with IT, operations, finance, and other teams to define and align business and system requirements.
5. Analyze current routing and billing processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for automation or optimization.
6. Apply Lean Six Sigma principles to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
7. Conduct stakeholder meetings, workshops, and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and project progress.

Required Qualifications:

1. 8+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst with a focus on transportation, logistics, or supply chain.
2. Strong knowledge of routing, billing, and invoicing processes in transportation.
3. Hands-on experience with business process modeling, requirement documentation, and workflow optimization.
4. Proficiency in FigJam, Visio, or similar tools for process mapping and wireframing.
5. Experience with Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher preferred) to drive process improvements.
6. Familiarity with TMS (Transportation Management Systems), billing software, and ERP systems.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex business needs into actionable solutions.
8. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
9. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience working with fleet management, dispatching, and freight billing systems.
2. Knowledge of EDI, API integrations, and data analysis for transportation processes.
3. Prior experience in an agile environment with a focus on system implementations.
