Role Title: Oracle FCCS Consultant

Duration: 6-12 months

Preferred Location: Remote with travel once a month to Buffalo

Role Description:
We are seeking a seasoned FCCS Consultant with strong business acumen and a deep understanding of financial consolidation and reporting processes. This role will act as a strategic advisor between internal business stakeholders and an external implementation partner. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to not only interpret and speak the language of finance and consolidation but also challenge and validate business requirements to ensure they align with system capabilities and project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the liaison between business users and implementation partner, translating business needs into system requirements and vice versa.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service) to advise on best practices and business alignment.
• Understand and use business terminology related to financial consolidation to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Evaluate and challenge business requirements where appropriate, offering alternatives that better fit strategic or technical goals.
• Participate in workshops, meetings, and reviews, providing senior-level insight and guidance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in FCCS implementation or advisory roles, particularly with a focus on business process alignment.
• Banking industry experience required
• Deep understanding of financial consolidation principles and terminology.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to push back constructively.
• Experience working with implementation or in similar advisory capacities is a strong plus.
• Must be based in the United States and willing to travel to NY monthly.
• Must be available during Eastern Time Zone working hours.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant consulting experience preferred.
