RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Developer 1 in Houston, TX.
Responsibilities:
* Software Design and Development: Design, code, test, and debug software applications and systems with a focus on C# technologies
* Requirements Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop effective technical solutions
* Code Quality: Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and software development methodologies to ensure the delivery of high-quality and maintainable software products
* Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to provide and receive feedback, ensuring the adherence to best practices and code quality standards
* Version Control: Manage version control activities using tools such as Git to track changes and maintain code integrity throughout the development lifecycle
* Software Deployment: Contribute to software deployment activities, ensuring successful implementation and integration of software solutions
* Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs, leveraging your expertise in C# provide effective solutions
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
* 1-3 years of experience in software development, programming, or application design with a strong focus on C# and familiarity with IoT and RFID technologies
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
