QC Inspector

Terms of Employment
W2 Contract, 12 months
This position is 100% onsite and is dependent upon contracts that are working.
Will be expected to travel to job sites daily.
Rain days have the ability to be hybrid while doing paperwork.

Overview
Our client is seeking a Mid QA Inspector to join their team. The QA Inspector would be Overseeing quality on various gas construction projects. Responsible for performing inspections, tests, and evaluations of products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. They work independently or as part of a team to ensure that products meet quality requirements before they are released to customers.

Core responsibilities include:
Conducting inspections and tests of products at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Performing visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests on products.
Identifying and documenting defects, discrepancies, and non-conformities in products.
Reporting inspection and test results to QC supervisors or managers.
Assisting in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and guidelines.
Maintaining inspection records and documentation.
Participating in the investigation and resolution of quality issues.
Providing training and guidance to junior QC inspectors.
Ensuring compliance with safety and quality control procedures and guidelines.
Keeping abreast of industry standards and best practices in quality control

Required Skills & Experience
High School Diploma and 5+ years of experience in gas construction or quality oversight.
Familiarity with construction standards and SOP s.
Ability to read prints and construction specifications.
Strong Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams skills.
Verbal communication skills, ability to de-escalate situations
Ability to use supplied MDT and computer applications.
