Job Details

We are looking for an experienced PowerApps Developer to join our Project Management Center of Excellence organization. You will be responsible for scoping, designing, developing, and maintaining applications using the Microsoft PowerApps platform and directly improving business processes by creating effective, efficient, accessible, and user-friendly solutions. The following are the core responsibilities of this position.
Core responsibilities:
Development: Design, develop, and test a working set of solutions.
Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation and user guides.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions.
Education: Transfer knowledge to staff to long-term maintenance of the solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: At least 3 5 years of Software Development with 2+ years in PowerApps development including the scoping, design, development, testing, and maintenance performed on one or more PowerApps applications.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in PowerApps, Power Automate, Microsoft 365, SharePoint; knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS; familiarity with Azure.
Soft Skills: Goal setting, initiative, adaptability, creativity, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, patience, exceptional verbal and written communication, and teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years Microsoft PowerApps experience (certification preferred)
6+ years experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
5+ years experience integrating Microsoft products
5+ years experience with REST/SOAP APIs (Preferred)
5+ years experience with SQL or PL/SQL (Preferred)
The responsibilities of this role include:
Build custom applications using PowerApps that integrate Power Automate capabilities with SharePoint.
Work with various stakeholders to obtain requirements, make recommendations, and coordinate timelines for implementation of applications.
Meet bi-weekly deadlines for delivering working software.
Create and execute test plans.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
Maintain documentation and user guides.
Apply relational database concepts to optimize data storage and retrieval processes.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Key Qualities Sought
General
Proficient in MS Products; Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerApps to include Power Automate and Power BI
8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Project Management
Must have experience with both waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
Experience with managing the needs of multiple stakeholders. (preferred)
Knowledge and experience with the D.M.A.I.C. methodology (preferred)
Experience with ITIL Project Management
Technical
Microsoft PL certification a plus
Experience in Application UI/UX
Familiarity with APIs and Data Querying
Must have experience using Power BI for data visualization.
