Job Title: Plant Resident Engineer/Plant Engineer Location: Saltillo Mexico Duration: Full Time MOI: Phone & MS Teams

The Resident Engineer is responsible to deploy the product in the Customer plant sites, facilitating Customer acceptance activities, and interacting with both Customer and Marelli teams to solve all the plant related issues

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

Key Activities
1. Resident activities

Key Responsibilities
1. Support the plant issues related to Marelli product
2. Lead joint debug session with customer
3. Ensure the correct configuration of the test cars and test benches, with all the different ECUs up to date with the approved Customer SW / HW
4. Support the Customer on integration tests of the different control units and support the Customer in the result analysis and in the defect tracking
5. Collect Logs for the issues found
6. Ensure a first level analysis for all defects/parts coming from external customers
7. Analyze defects seen on customer sites
8. Be the R&D referent for Marelli residents in Customer plants, and ensure the proper spread of information
9. Support customer production sites during product launch phases
10. SW reflash if required
11. Support Marelli Development team with the root cause analysis
12. Support administrative activities related within customer process
13. Participate in the meetings with other suppliers if needed in order to maximize the effectiveness in problem solving also in terms of time
14. Ability travel to other STLA or Marelli Sites if needed

REQUIREMENTS
Education
Electronic Engineering Degree, Information Science Degree

Languages
English (recommended): written and spoken independent use (B2 level)
Customer interfaces language knowledge: written and spoken independent use (B2 level minimum)

Experiences
At least 3 years-experience in System Tests or SW development activities.
Capabilities ( Behavior & Technical Skills ) / Cultural Fit
Ability to work in multinational distributed teams
High capacity of analysis and synthesis for all the technical issues
Problem solving attitude
Customer management ability
Test Management and Defect Management tools knowledge
Car Diagnostic Tool
Reporting
Good Written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Embedded C and/or Linux development
Highly skilled in troubleshooting software issue
Electronics and SW knowledge relevant for automotive industry
Able to understand to work with specialized SW and debugging tools
Prefer experience with STLA system (CDA , CAN , CN , DCR, JIM)
