Job Title: Java Backend Developer (AWS)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Java Backend Developer with strong experience in designing and building scalable microservices and cloud-based solutions using AWS. You will be part of a collaborative engineering team responsible for developing high-performance APIs and backend systems that power our products and services.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available systems on AWS.
Integrate with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, ECS/EKS, SNS/SQS, and CloudFormation.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD processes.
Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, QA, and product managers to deliver robust solutions.
Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues across development, test, and production environments.
Contribute to system architecture and design discussions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

7+ years of professional experience in backend development using Java.
Strong knowledge of Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, etc.).
Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.).
Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Proficiency with SQL and experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Aurora.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and containerization using Docker.
Strong understanding of cloud security, scalability, and performance tuning.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Kubernetes or ECS/EKS.
Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code (IaC).
Exposure to message queues like Kafka or SQS.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect) is a plus.
