As a DRAM CMOS device Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc, you will be working with an industry leading team on groundbreaking technologies to enable next generation DRAM in the manufacturing Fab, ramp up production yield and deliver high quality DRAM product to customers. You will be responsible for the analysis of electrical test results, driving the improvement of device performance and reliability, performing device characterization, developing data automation et al. As part of the position, you will have opportunity to work closely with the data engineering team, process integration and development team, Product Engineering team, Product design team, Quality Assurance and failure analysis team.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze electrical data and send feedback to (PI) Progress integration team. Work with PI to define the actions based on the learning of electrical data.
  • Drive the improvement of device performance and reliability through proposing or/and running DOE on the silicon.
  • Device characterization and investigating to understand performance and reliability issues.
  • Monitor and maintain device performance on the production line. Make sure the meets the production-grade need.
  • Communicate and deliver the results to a broad audience.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • M.S degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Engineer, or Physics or equivalent practical experience
  • Confirmed understanding of semiconductor device physics.
  • 3 years hand-on experience on semiconductor device characterization.
  • Knowledge of statistical data analysis.
  • Understanding of basic circuit operation.

Preferred Qualification:
  • Ph. D in Electrical Engineering, Material Engineer, or Physics or equivalent practical experience
  • 1+ year experience in high performance CMOS area.
  • Basic Knowledge of product architecture in mainstream memory such as DRAM, NAND, NOR et al.
  • Knowledge of programming languages (such as python, C++), software tools
