We are seeking a senior manager to lead our Endpoint Security team and manage the day-to-day services to keep our enterprise safe. This team houses our security engineering, which is responsible for the security related infrastructure across both on-premises datacenters and the public cloud. As the senior manager, this individual would oversee personnel as well as strategic initiatives and collaboration with other business units on critical security initiatives and incident responses. The ideal candidate brings hands-on technical knowledge, outstanding communication skills, and a "team-first" attitude when incidents arise and isn't afraid to dig in when problems must be solved.
This position can be based to work out of any Jack Henry office or remote from any US location. Salary range for this position is $120-210k, depending on candidate experience and geographic location.
What you'll be responsible for:
Manages the security of information and establishes security systems, policies and procedures to prevent system compromise or infiltration.
Manages a large team of professionals across diverse security domains.
Develops and implements standards for appropriate security checkpoints and encryption methods.
Develops policies & procedures to ensure the security of all solutions.
Investigates, recommends and monitors implementation of new security products and services. Acts as a central point of contact for internal customers on security issues.
Participates in product Change Control Boards and work with other JHA departments to ensure security of products and services.
Monitors and evaluates internal and external security threats.
May be called upon to drive forward resolution in the case of an incident.
Coordinates security-related reviews. Follow up on security findings from these and other third-party reviews.
May perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need to have:
Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in information technology.
Must have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on information or network security experience.
Must have experience with endpoint security, encryption, email security, data security, and/or access management.
Must have cloud experience (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or private cloud).
Previous management or supervision experience required.
Ability to travel up to 5% for team meetings, conferences, and training events.
What would be nice for you to have:
Bachelor's Degree
CISSP, CISM or ISSMP certification.
Familiarity with information security concepts and frameworks such as defense in depth, zero trust networking, or the Mitre framework.
Experience with security and governance on the Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
Background in managing an automation-centric team using CI/CD pipelines.
Experience in the financial services industry or other highly regulated environments.
