Job Title: SAP PLM Architect Location : Remote ( Looking for EST /CST candidates ) Duration: Long Term Job Overview:
The SAP PLM Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions to support the organization s product development and lifecycle management needs. This role involves working closely with business and IT stakeholders to ensure that SAP PLM systems are aligned with business processes, enhance product development efficiency, and integrate seamlessly with other enterprise systems.
Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect SAP PLM solutions to meet business requirements and enhance product lifecycle management capabilities.
  • Develop comprehensive architecture blueprints and integration designs for SAP PLM, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Evaluate and recommend SAP PLM functionalities, best practices, and technology solutions to optimize product lifecycle processes.
  • Lead the implementation of SAP PLM solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA) and third-party systems.
  • Oversee and manage SAP PLM projects, including planning, execution, and post-implementation support.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, including
  • product managers, engineers, and R&D teams, to gather requirements and understand product lifecycle needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise on SAP PLM functionalities, configurations, and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and support for EDI implementation, testing, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Lead or support EDI-related projects, including system upgrades, new implementations, and process enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • 12+ years of experience as SAP PLM and 5+ years as Architect or in a similar role with a focus on SAP Product Lifecycle Management.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP PLM modules and functionalities, including Product Data Management (PDM), Engineering Change Management (ECM), and Document Management System (DMS).
  • worked extensively in Recipe Development/Specification management/change record /EPD with BTP experience.
  • Experience on configuration of Recipe Development,
  • Specification, Property Trees, and other PLM SPRO Nodes, preferably for
  • Food & Beverages client
  • Experience with excellent knowledge of Material Master Data, recipes and recipe calculations
  • Exposure on Recipe Simulation Process (Handover to Manufacturing) with strong experience on, BOMs and ECM.
  • Experience on Engineering change Management process and knowledge of Engineering Records and Workflows
  • Experience on SAP Enterprise Product Development (EPD) and LabelNow solution
  • Experience on Product Labelling Process- Ingredient Label, Component Label, Packaging Label.
  • Support the SAP Recipe Development solution by replicating the reported issues and providing solutions.
  • Experience on configuration Document Management System, Classification, BOM and experience on SAP S4 PPM knowledge
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP PLM) are highly desirable.
