The job profile for this position is Infrastructure Engineering Senior Advisor Hybrid which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role with eviCore healthcare MSI, Inc.
Big data engineer responsible for resolving complex technical issues. Ensure that quality is maintained by following development patterns and standards. Prepare deployment and post-deployment plans to support conversion and deployment of solutions. Interact with architects, technical project managers, and developers to ensure that solutions meet requirements. Improve coding quality and reliability by implementing good standards and processes. Increase productivity by implementing tools and processes. Build ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) processes to allow data to flow seamlessly from source to target. Load and enhance dimensional data models. Leverage code to apply business rules to ensure data is clean and is interpreted correctly by stakeholders. Perform peer code reviews and QA. Fine tune existing code to make processes more dimensional data models. Leverage code to apply business rules to ensure data is clean and is interpreted correctly by stakeholders. Drive development and delivery of key business initiatives for Big Data Platform. Collaborate with Business stakeholders to gather Business requirements. Collaborate with remote teams (on-shore and off-shore) for Solution Delivery. Virtual/Work from home benefit (hybrid schedule) available.
Master's or foreign equivalent degree in management information systems, computers, or engineering plus three years of experience as a big data engineer/developer or a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in management information systems, computers, or engineering plus five years of experience as a big data engineer/developer. Must have experience with: PySpark; Apache Spark; Python; Hadoop; SQL; Microsoft Azure; Hive; JSON; Shell Scripting.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
