Proofpoint Social Patrol helps customers report on social media compliance at scale, while Proofpoint Enterprise Archive integrates with Social Patrol to ensure all monitored content is archived for storage and e-discovery.

About
Our client is seeking to deploy two new Proofpoint products, Proofpoint Social Patrol and Proofpoint Enterprise Archive, in their environment. Proofpoint Social Patrol helps customers report on social media compliance at scale, while Proofpoint Enterprise Archive integrates with Social Patrol to ensure all monitored content is archived for storage and e-discovery.
Job Responsibilities:
- Gather internal requirements for the design of cloud implementation of Proofpoint Social Patrol and Proofpoint Enterprise Archive.
- Guide vendors through setup and configuration of cloud technologies in lower lane and production environments.
- Validate functionality through test case development and execution.
- Facilitate problem resolution throughout the engineering lifecycle, including problem classification, prioritization, and initiation of action.
- Generate engineering and design artifacts.
- Lead design, development, and implementation of technical integrations to ensure timely delivery.
- Develop code to translate files of varying types (e.g., XML, JSON, CSV, Tab Delimited) into a specific XML format.
- Capture and log exceptions and abnormalities with automated responses.
- Critically document all custom integrations for supportability and transparency.
- Document and validate requirements.
- Plan work sprints and provide delivery timelines.
- Perform backend development (business logic).
- Provide day-to-day support for data and applications.
- Configure vendor products and build integrations.
- Develop automations and workflow software.
- Apply general engineering skills in architecture, design, and product lifecycle management.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience supporting engineering for cloud-based messaging and archiving.
- Experience creating shell programs and utility scripts.
- Experience with Proofpoint Social Patrol and Enterprise Archive.
- Experience with enterprise security, including TLS, SMTP over TLS, certificates, and HSM.
- Knowledge of authentication mechanisms, including domain authentication, OAuth/Modern Authentication, and Kerberos.
- Experience with network security components, including load balancers and firewalls.
- Understanding of financial regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with ITIL methodologies and best practices.
- MCP, CCNP, or similar certifications demonstrating working knowledge of IT fundamentals.
- Experience providing operations and user support software/hardware training to formulate technology solutions and ensure effective safeguarding and sharing of enterprise data.
- Experience supporting mission-critical, 24x7 systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter, critical thinker with the ability to deal with granular requirements yet see things holistically and strategically.
- Ability to shift and pivot with changing responsibilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Ability to work with business and technical teams to build requirements and technical artifacts.
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
- Ability to learn new technology and business processes as required.
- Ability to create engineering documents, including detailed designs and test plans.
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication.

- Experience with ITIL foundational and Agile process methodologies.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail and effective time management skills.
- Possess a personal sense of urgency and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
- English speaking/writing proficiency.
