Overview

This position is for a Senior Network Security Engineer with a concentration on Cisco ISE NAC/Compliance Posture Assessments and Palo Alto GlobalProtect. The right candidate will a self-starter who can serve in a technical lead role, provide technical project management/oversight, and provide hands-on support at an SME level within areas of focus.

Responsibilities
  • System baselining
  • System requirements gathering
  • Implementation of Cisco ISE solution for environment supporting over 20k endpoints
  • Implementation of Cisco ISE posture requirements, remediations, policy and client provisioning
  • ISE solution upgrades in support of feature enhancements
  • In depth troubleshooting of ISE infrastructure as applicable
  • Implementation of Palo Alto GlobalProtect HIPs posturing
  • Implementation of Palo Alto FWaaS and CASB
  • Evaluate technical solutions in response to business challenges
  • Support development of client deployment strategy
  • Provide thought leadership in support continuous improvements
  • Present technical solutions as needed for knowledge sharing and acceptance
  • Provide project support and status reporting
  • Establish and maintain system documentation
  • Represent changes via CAB meetings
  • Present new solutions and architectures via ARB meetings
  • Collaborate with partnering teams in support of solution development and deployment

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Advanced hands-on experience and knowledge of Cisco ISE
  • Significant hands-on experience and knowledge of Cisco Catalyst switches
  • Advanced hands-on experience and knowledge of Palo Alto GlobalProtect/HIPs posturing and/or VPN
  • Advanced hands-on experience and knowledge with System design, administration, and security
  • Strong team player, able to communicate and show leadership amongst teams of similarly knowledgeable specialists and Engineers.
  • Experience supporting technical teams in a lead role
  • Experience working with Incident, Problem, and Change Management

Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity and/or prior experience working with Cloud environment(s) (e.g. Azure, AWS, or OCI)
  • Active CISSP Certification
  • Active Certification in Cisco and/or Palo Alto
