Job Overview
This IT communications company is looking for a team of technicians with 2-5 years experience in the fire alarm field, specifically for full cycle installation in a construction site setting. These individuals will have experience running/pulling cable, experience with conduits, and experience programming said alarm systems. The team will perform and assist with installation, programming and checkout of systems and service installed fire alarm jobs. Types of systems include all EST/Edwards fire alarm and mass notification systems. The Fire Alarm Technician will install or supervise the installation of conduit, wire, cable, equipment, components and devices associated with special systems.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for program and install of fire alarm systems

o Majority of work located at an inside plant/construction site

Responsible for pulling cable/low voltage wiring

Ability to interpret and understand engineered drawings

Ability to perform tasks required based off drawings

Ability to communicate knowledge of systems and progress of installs to customers on behalf of the company

Responsible for performing system testing and troubleshooting

Generate red-lined field drawings following company policies

Ability to program small to large, more complex systems, including system integration (Fireworks).

Responsible for following all industry, customer, and company safety standards as well as regulations
