Business System Analyst
Job Details
Job title: MES Business System Analyst
Work Location with Zip code: California City, CA 93505 (Willing to consider remote for exceptional talent)
Duration of the project: 12 Months
Minimum years of experience required: 8-10 Years
Experience: Minimum 5 years in MES (Manufacturing execution system Discrete, Hi-Tech/Semiconductor)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Implement and manage MES systems in semiconductor manufacturing environments.
2. Coordinate and direct all testing phases (UAT, Integration, System) for MES modules, including data integration.
3. Develop test cases, test data, and verify software changes, serving as a liaison between developers and users.
4. Manage defect triage calls with multiple vendors, ensuring timely resolution and tracking defects to closure.
5. Collaborate with IT portfolio managers, PMs, and customers to co-develop MES roadmaps and drive product features from concept to launch.
6. Document and maintain MES modeling processes and create/update knowledge base and training documents.
7. Provide global business support across different time zones and ensure deadlines are met with high integrity and professionalism.
8. Communicate and report UAT testing results and progress to stakeholders, including test summary and execution metrics.
9. Conduct systems analysis to recommend operational improvements and ensure confidentiality of operations.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the semiconductor industry.
2. Proven experience in MES implementation and management, with a clear understanding of MES modules.
3. Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
4. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
5. Experience with Service Now, Azure DevOps, and/or similar tools.
6. Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall software development lifecycle.
7. Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in and / or business processes
8. Proactive self-starter with excellent track records.
9. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and engage, influence, and inspire stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
1. Proven, hands-on experience with MES systems.
2. Understand entire MES flow from ERP, PLM, and MES. Experience with end-to-end MES implementations.
3. Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and MES modules.
4. Should be able to differentiate between different type roles by engineering and assembly tester
5. Proficiency in MES-ERP integration
