Title: UI/UX/ Frontend Developer

Location: Glen Allen, VA

Type: Contract

Note: Hybrid

Job Description:

Minimum Requirements

  • BS or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 6+ years of professional UI/UX experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience using React
  • Basic understanding and exposure to Next.JS
  • Knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Familiar with UI component libraries (Mui)
  • Ability to write efficient, secure, and clean JavaScript code
  • Building modular and reusable components and libraries
  • Experience with Jest
  • Experience using Git

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Spring Boot
  • Experience using KAFKA
  • Knowledge of MongoDB
  • Experience using Azure DevOps
  • Familiar with Domain Driven Design concepts and patterns
  • Knowledge of Micro Services
  • Hands-on experience using Gradle

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to collaborate with other team members

Responsibilities

  • Develop mission critical user interfaces
  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code
  • Prepare and produce releases of software components
  • Investigate, debug, and fix software defects
  • Work collaboratively with a team in an Agile environment
  • Prepare technical standards, provide technical advice and guidance, and collaborate with other programmers to conceptualize and develop design
  • Support continuous improvement by staying up-to-date on front-end technology
