Description

ICF International seeks a Data Quality Analyst to support a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) program. Your data analysis skills and experience will support DHS in understanding technologies and associated risks to critical infrastructure; identifying and analyzing risks; and developing methodological and analytical processes to reduce risk to critical infrastructure. Your work also will inform risk information shared with the stakeholders who protect the Nation's critical infrastructure and the lives and livelihoods of those who depend on that critical infrastructure.

The primary work location is a client site in Arlington, Virginia with some remote work allowed.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Contributing to the identification of opportunities and development of strategies to support data management through integrating data-related capabilities into the organization's ongoing efforts.
  • Supporting technical data collection, processing and maintenance, data management, data services, extract/transform/load and archival, recovery, and implementation of data.
  • Contributing to the development of processes and methodologies for data ingestion, data discovery, and data storage to enhance and support the organization's data posture.
  • Running data queries to identify coding issues and data exceptions, as well as cleaning data.
  • Gathering data from primary or secondary data sources to identify and interpret trends.
  • Documenting processes and maintaining data records.
  • Reporting data analysis findings to management to inform decisions.


What You Must Have:

  • BA/BS in mathematics, data science, statistics, engineering, or related field.
  • 1 + years of experience of demonstrated experience conducting data quality analysis, ideally applied to national security, defense security, or homeland security data.
  • Knowledge of data quality methods and tests
  • Practical experience conditioning large data sets.
  • Demonstrated experience applying mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions.
  • Experience collecting and analyzing data and contributing to the development of decision support software, service, or products.
  • Experience presenting and communicating the results of analysis to project stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience using Python, Java, and R and with statistical packages such as MS Excel, SAS, and SPSS.
  • ship required as part of client contract requirements. High level clearance required. SCI.

  • DHS or Sector Risk Management Agency experience or experience in private sector critical infrastructure security and resilience.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills with emphasis on timely completion and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Team player with the ability to adjust work pace to match client priorities and competing demands, especially on no-notice quick-turn needs.
  • Demonstrated outstanding level of professionalism in providing onsite support, including ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary, confidential, and government classified information.
  • Highly-disciplined, self-starter requiring minimal guidance.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

$59,469.00 - $101,098.00
