Manufacturing Engineer
El Segundo Area, CA
Direct Hire, Full Time (Onsite Position)
$70- $90KYR DOE

Immediate hire. Successful candidate will be focused on design for manufacturing, manufacturing
documentation, tooling, and engineering support of manufacturing of antennas, stationary and mobile antenna systems, and related equipment. Evaluate product test failures and provide troubleshooting support. Work with Quality Assurance in developing statistical process control methods for optimizing product assembly and test throughput. Support the failure analysis and review of customer returned units. Provide effective and efficient design for manufacturing support during the conceptual, detailed design, integration, and test phases of a product development program, with the goal of achieving on-time completion of assigned tasks. Prepare and present design material during internal and external design reviews. Develop component and antenna system level assembly instructions. Develop tooling and fixtures in support of component and antenna system level assembly and test. Interface with suppliers throughout the manufacturing phase of a program.

Requirements:
  • BS in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in the field of Manufacturing Engineering
  • Knowledge of assembly techniques and tooling design
  • Knowledge in the areas of fasteners, adhesives, coatings, sealing, and industry specifications
  • Technically proficient in MS Office products
  • ship or lawful permanent residence in the U.S. required in support of US Government contracts/subcontracts
