Job Description Summary
Leader of HP system integration efforts

Systems engineering is a cross-functional engineering discipline centered on an approach, mindset, and process. All activities that consider both the business and the technical needs of the customers with the goal of providing a quality product that meets the user's needs. The discipline that executes a robust process of design, creation, and optimization of systems, consisting of identification and quantification of system requirements, creation of alternate system design concepts, performance of design trade studies, selection and implementation of the best designs and verification that the design is properly integrated and executed. Process that proceeds from concept to production to operation.

Impacts the team's ability to achieve service, quality, and timeliness of objectives. The role is subject to operating policy objectives. There is moderate autonomy within the role. High levels of operational judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Systems Integrator of HP system product and rig.
  • Responsibilities include and may span over multiple components or assemblies:
  • Managing integration process for interfaces, cross-section, digital engine, and product configuration structure.
  • Defining product or system requirements and manage flow-down and compliance.
  • Coordinating interface between components and execution organization.
  • Managing the overall product configuration and configuration control system.
  • Other responsibilities may include leading integration and reporting of overall system metrices such as weight or other KPIs.
  • Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services.


Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in project leadership.

  • Product Definition and Operations experience may be helpful.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.
