Job Details

As a Licensed Professional Engineer, you will:
  • Design, analyze, and check complex bridge structures
  • Lead structural design and detailing of bridge components with some guidance from Project Managers and Senior Engineers
  • Take charge of developing design reports, investigations, contract plans, project specifications, and cost estimates
  • Participate in construction project oversight (reviewing RFIs, shop drawings, conducting site visits, etc.)
  • Assist Project Managers and guide/supervise entry-level engineers
  • Support proposal development
  • Review construction specifications and special provisions
  • Collaborate with clients, subconsultants, contractors, fabricators, etc. as needed
  • Produce project-related correspondence

You should have:
  • BS Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, MS is a plus
  • Licensure as a Professional Engineer in one or more states
  • Strong technical writing and oral communication skills
  • Ability to delegate tasks and supervise entry-level engineers
  • Skills to produce internal and external project correspondence
