3. Microsoft Azure experience - Do not need to be an expert. Someone who has worked within Azure and is aspiring to learn more.
Description:
1. Monitors status of network enabled devices, switches, wireless and provides maintenance as needed(HP Procurve switches and access points)
2. Builds, maintains, troubleshoots and installs new hardware and software throughout the organization and cable terminations for new network runs and fiber optic maintenance.
3. Troubleshoots problems with network related software and hardware (configuration issues). Barracuda firewall, VEEAM Backup, VLANs, HyperV virtual servers.
4. Maintains network security with proxies and firewalls including VLANs
5. Maintains applications such as email, office 365 support, and SharePoint .
6. Assists with response to end user hardware and application problems and coordinates service calls as required.
7. Maintains and builds network file servers including virtual servers and VLAN's.
8. Comprehensive documentation skills, including documenting all network changes and procedures.
9. Configures and maintains student iPads and PCs and repairs where possible.
10. Maintain Network, Server, RAID and Drobo arrays and PC security.
11. Maintain system backups using VEEAM and support video servers and almost everything that attaches to our network.
12. Gives a 45-minute security presentation to all staff (approximately 300) once a year and to NEO approximately 5 times a year (no more than 20 new staff).
13. Troubleshoot telephone system issues.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or commensurate with experience.
2. 2-4 years of experience as a Network Administrator required.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of networking.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of computing systems.
5. General knowledge of Windows and NOVELL operating systems and Apple OS.
6. Interpersonal skills to assist technical customers along with technically challenged customers.

9. General knowledge of industry best practices related to technological infrastructure and network systems,
software applications, technological security, and databases.
