About the Opportunity:
A cutting-edge biotech company in San Diego is seeking a Senior Manager/Associate Director, IT Strategy & Business Solutions to drive digital innovation within Clinical Development and Regulatory functions. This role will serve as a key partner in aligning technology solutions with business objectives, optimizing operations, and supporting the company’s research pipeline. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with leadership to identify strategic opportunities for process improvements and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:

Salary Range: $185,000 - $195,000 (total compensation 250-275k+ including base, bonus, and RSUs)
Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
Location: Onsite 2 days per week in San Diego, CA (flexible for remote if able to work on PST and travel on occasion)

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead IT initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance within Clinical and Regulatory functions.
- Serve as a trusted technology advisor, aligning digital strategies with business needs.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize enterprise applications.
- Oversee system adoption efforts by developing training resources and support materials.
- Manage a portfolio of clinical and regulatory systems, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with industry best practices.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to inform decision-making.
- Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for automation, analytics, and process improvement.
- Ensure smooth transition and adoption of new solutions while maximizing user experience.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 6+ years of leadership experience in a regulated biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environment.
- Proven ability to lead strategic planning, process optimization, and technology implementation.
- Experience with clinical trial management systems, regulatory information management, and quality systems.
- Strong relationship management skills with a track record of influencing stakeholders and driving change.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
