Job Description:

Full-time professional experience working as a Electronics Technician/Field Engineer with strong Electronic/RF background that installs, maintains, and repairs electronic, mechanical, and/or shipboard sytems. Provides technical advice and guidance on RF Theorey, RF Spectrum management, and/or configuration of shipboard collection systems. Ability to evaluate software systems, strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

-Provides technical advice and guidance on RF Theorey, RF Spectrum, and wave propogation.

-Troubleshoots a range of hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues.

-Experience using a broad range of test equipment troubleshooting RF/Electronic equipment

-Performs a range of technical tasks and provides site support.

-Provides advanced solutions to problems and guidance to less experienced Technicians.

-Provides advanced training on different types of equipment and infrastructure maintenance.

-Prepares and revises drawings for systems, parts or equipment from sketches or marked-up prints.

-Provides advice and a range of onsite training for customer support personnel.

-Works with Electrical/Mechanical engineers for stress/electrical/mechanical calculations.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years of full-time hands-on experience in installation, troubleshooting, repairing, and/or testing of any one major shipboard system/equipment.

Active Secret Clearance required.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $28.05 - $37.95. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
