Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Systems Analyst in Pittsfield, Maine. The role involves providing crucial operations and support to our business systems, collaborating with IT teams, and ensuring optimal service levels. This role sits within the industry of enterprise software systems and would suit someone with a strong background in system operations, maintenance, and IT configurations.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with IT teams and business units to ensure the highest service levels are met and maintained
Handle the operations and support of critical business systems, ensuring that they are always ready to go
Provide advice and mentorship to tier 1 support while also providing tier 2-3 production support of enterprise applications
Deploy tools and automations to enhance system monitoring, patching, and performance, ensuring they meet performance and compliance guidelines
Maintain comprehensive documentation including configuration, inventory, procedures, knowledgebase articles, and checklists
Support the day-to-day operations, maintenance, patching and configuration changes of enterprise systems, applications, services, and environments to meet ongoing business needs and ensure secure, reliable service
Assist with application-specific integrations, data exchange, import/export, and reporting tools
Stay current with industry trends through education, research, certification, professional publications, peer networks and/or professional organizations
Support the onboarding of new or existing enterprise business systems into the operational portfolio, including M& A consolidations and data migrations.
Requirements
Proficiency in business systems, patching, and IT configurations
Experience in system monitoring and documentation
Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, HRMS, HCM, and MRP System
Minimum of three years of experience as a Systems Analyst
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
