Molex, a Koch Company, is seeking Technical Sales Engineering Interns to join our Global Sales & Marketing team this upcoming Summer 2025 in Lisle, Illinois! In this role, interns will develop their sales, technical, and networking skills. High performing interns will be considered, upon graduation, for full-time 12-18 month technical sales and leadership development program.

What You Will Do

Our internship program seeks talent from many disciplines including (but not limited to):

  • Electrical Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Sales Engineering


Some examples of responsibilities or projects include:
  • Customer engagement regarding next generation designs utilizing Molex solutions and capabilities.
  • Daily networking opportunities providing high level exposure within the company.
  • Market and Product research project to support current and/or determine future focus industries.
  • Receive extensive product training.
  • Participate in knowledge share meetings with subject matter experts.
  • Program includes learning opportunities in: Sales Engineering, Business Development, Product Management, and Marketing


This role is based in Lisle, IL.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Enrolled in a degree or alternative program (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.)
  • Eligible for full time employment on or before Summer 2026.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Enrolled in a Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Sales Engineering, or related Engineering degree program
  • Collaboration skills and ability to work successfully with cross-discipline teams and build professional relationships.
  • Natural curiosity and motivation for learning and contributing to the team.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking skills and proactively solve problems.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical requirements effectively in presentation/collaboration.
  • Organizational skills to anticipate, plan and prioritize assigned work.
